Bridgeport Well-Represented in Annual North-South All-Star Volleyball Tournament in Beckley

Bridgeport volleyball coaches Ali and Grant Burton had one more opportunity on Sunday to coach three seniors from the Class AAA state champion Indians.
Myleigh Smell, Calleigh Morgan and Kaylee Enfield all represented BHS on the Class AAA North All-Stars in the annual North-South Volleyball Tournament at Woodrow Wilson HIgh School in Beckley.
The three BHS seniors were joined by Robert C. Byrd’s Cameron Ware, Frankfort’s Avery Noel, Frankfort’s Taylor Mandell, North Marion’s Audrey Hamilton and Hampshire’s Addyson Brill.
Frankfort’s Brooke Higson joined the Burtons as a coach for the all-star squad.
They defeated the AA South, AA North and AAAA North All-Stars, 1-0. They lost to the AAAA South all-stars 1-0 and then ended the day with a 2-1 win against the AAA South all-stars.
