Photos: BHS Rallies for 7-6 Victory Against University on Senior Night; Indians Improve to 19-8

Class AAA No. 3 Bridgeport overcame a five-run deficit with a six-run third inning to defeat University, 7-6, on Senior Night, Thursday.
 
With the victory, the Indians improve to 19-8.
 
The Hawks jumped out to a 3-0 lead before Luke Rohrig got one back for BHS in the bottom half of the inning with a solo home run.
 
University extended its lead to 6-1 with three more in the top of the third.
 
In the pivotal bottom half of the third, Carson Currey and Owen Sondericker drew bases-loaded walks to make it 6-3.
 
Sam Goodwin hit a two-run double to make to make it a one-run game at 6-5. Jack Gould later hit a two-run single to make it 7-6.
 
Steven Lee picked up the win out of the bullpen, allowing two hits and three unearned runs over five innings with four strikeouts.
 
BHS returns to action on Monday in a Class AAA Region II openeer against Berkeley Springs.
