Winning Continues on Golf Course for Ramsey Family as Caroline, Lauren Win Mother-Child WVGA Event

By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on July 28, 2020

Winning in events involving the West Virginia Golf Association is not limited to just one member involved with the Ramsey household in Bridgeport. Recent results on the links show that the genetic disposition for success is shared by Caroline Ramsey.

As most know, Caroline Ramsey has been a dominant force involving West Virginia Amateur Golf events. In recent years, she dominated the West Virginia Women's Senior Amateur.

The winning continued July 18-19 at The Resort at Glad Springs. Ramsey was joined by her daughter Lauren Ramsey in the two-day Mother-Child competition at the course.

The pair, representing the Bridgeport Country Club, finished with a two-day total of 133. That was five strokes ahead of the next group in the competition.
