Landau Eugene Murphy Concert Slated for July at Robinson Grand Reset for December Holiday Show

By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on June 22, 2020

Out of an abundance of caution and taking advantage of a perfect opportunity, the Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center will be rescheduling the Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr. concert originally slated for Saturday, July 11, 2020 to a new holiday date.

In collaboration with Landau Eugene Murphy Jr.’s Management, the RGPAC team has found an amazing replacement for this summer’s event in the form of the 10th Annual “Home for the Holidays” Tour with Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr., West Virginia’s own America’s Got Talent Winner, on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 8 pm.

All existing ticket sales will be honored, and we are pleased to announce that Landau will be bringing one or more special guests with him to provide a holiday-themed show that is sure to entertain audience members of all ages.

“This tour has been a West Virginia holiday tradition and we are so excited to bring it to your region on this special ten-year anniversary date,” states Burke Allen, manager of Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr.

Additionally, the RGPAC and the Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. management team have partnered with the United Way of Harrison County to collect winter items at the concert for donation to our county’s most needy populations. 100 free holiday CDs (Christmas Made for Two – Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr.) will be given to the first 100 patrons who bring in winter items to be donated on the night of the show. Further details regarding donation items will be released in the coming months.

“Though it is a disappointment to have to reschedule yet another show during the current pandemic, we know that this is the safest course of action. We’re honored to be a stop on Landau’s “Home for the Holidays” Tour 2020. This is a perfect way to end out the year—full of holiday cheer and hope for the new year,” explains Sales & Marketing Manager, Emily Moore.
