One of the Biggest Names in All of Country Music Set to Visit State at 100th Annual West Virginia State Fair

By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on March 20, 2025

The State Fair of West Virginia's reputation for landing big-name talent did not take a hit as they recently announced the 2025 appearance of country music star Miranda Lambert to the lineup for the 100th-ever event.

Lambert has been a force in the industry since her arrival. She is a multiple Grammy winner, holds several Country Music Awards (CMA) to her credit along with plenty of others during her career.

Along with the honors are plenty of sales. To date, she has sold nearly 8.2 million albums worldwide. She has eight number one songs as a featured artist.

The State Fair runs from August 7 through August 16 this year. Lambert's performance is scheduled for August 16.

Each year, the fair takes place in the Farlea area of Greenbrier County. And each year, the State Fair has a solid entertainment lineup - and this year's is no different.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 21, at 10 a.m. Ticket prices are $100 for track SRO (Standing Room Only), $95 for box seats, $90 for grandstand. There are taxes and Etix fees that will be added to the cost.

Click HERE for the ticket page. Click HERE for the West Virginia State Fair Web site to see other acts as well as additional information about the upcoming event that draws individuals from across the state and well beyond its borders.
