State Aviation Hall of Fame/Wall of Valor Committee Taking Nominations for Annual Inductions to April 30

By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on March 05, 2025

The West Virginia Aviation Hall of Fame/Wall of Valor Committee is accepting nominations for the annual inductions. Nominations must be received by April 30, 2025.

The inductee(s) will be honored at the West Virginia Airport Managers Association's annual Conference at the Snowshoe Mountain Resort & Conference Center July 27-29, 2025. The West Virginia Aviation Hall of Fame honors pioneers and leaders in the aviation industry who have made significant contributions to the development, advancement or promotion of aviation. The West Virginia Wall of Valor was established to honor living individuals and those who gave their lives in aviation actions where they exhibited or were cited for valor as a result of their actions.

"The WV Airport Managers Association is privileged to sponsor the WV Aviation Hall of Fame and Aviation Wall of Valor, and we are proud to honor heroes from West Virginia who have made significant contributions to the history of aviation in our state and those who have exhibited great courage in the face of danger", says Nic Diehl, President of the Association, and Executive Director & CEO of the Eastern West Virginia Regional Airport Authority in Martinsburg, WV. To see past inductees or to obtain criteria, nomination forms and information, please visit the West Virginia Airport Managers Association web site: www.wvama.org or contact Amy Cobasky: info@wvama.org
