Bridgeport Public Library: Tea & Talk – Revealed: A Glimpse Behind The Curtain of Harrison County’s Women
Bridgeport, WV – All are welcome to participate in the West Virginia Humanities Council Revealed: A Glimpse Behind The Curtain of Harrison County’s Women event. The group plans to meet in the Bridgeport Public Library’s parking lot at 12:40pm or at the Neff-Hardesty Memorial Archives at 1:00pm. Participants must pay for their own parking.

REVEALED: A GLIMPSE BEHIND THE CURTAIN OF HARRISON COUNTY’S WOMEN

From August 3-September 29, 2019, the Harrison County WV Historical Society hosts "Revealed: A Glimpse Behind the Curtain of Harrison County's Women," at the Neff-Hardesty Memorial Archives in Clarksburg. This free public exhibit is being presented as a part of the Harrison County WV Historical Society's "Year of the Woman" series. This series includes a free lecture on Victorine Louistall and a capstone presentation and book signing by the author of "Unmentionable," Therese Oneill. The Neff-Hardesty Memorial Archives is on the ground floor of the Harrison County Board of Education Building which is handicap accessible. Exhibit visitors must be buzzed in by security to enter.
