According to WDTV, Lewis County officials and citizens were out in full force to take part in the launch of the area’s $1.2 million facility of fun. Lewis County Commissioner Bobby Stewart is thrilled to have Extreme Adventures open.
“We’ve really been trying to do something for the community, and we wanted to invite people here, so it’s a great opportunity for our community. It gives everyone from different age groups and brackets to be built to participate and have fun,” said Stewart.
Admission to the park was free today until 10 p.m. The park includes an 18-hole miniature golf course, a zip line and a high ropes course. The park will be open through November. Officials hopes the park brings life to the community.
“Well, we really hope that it gives the people in the county an additional activity to do, and we also hope it brings people here and makes Lewis County a destination,” said Stewart.
