FROM THE CITY OF BRIDGEPORT
ORIGINAL: Out of an abundance of caution, all City of Bridgeport offices will be closed tomorrow, January 26. We will reopen on January 27 at 7:30 a.m.
Forecasts are calling for an additional 3-5” of snow tonight.
Hats off to our Public Works crews who have worked around the clock to keep our city streets as clean as possible given the challenging conditions. They will continue to work throughout the day and night. And our sincere appreciation to our Police and Fire Departments who are responding to emergencies regardless of weather and road conditions.
Please refrain from driving anywhere, if possible. Stay safe and stay warm.
UPDATE: The offices of the Greater-Bridgeport Convention & Visitors Bureau, along with Connect-Bridgeport, will be closed Monday, January 26, as the result of inclement and potentially dangerous weather.

The offices are planned to reopen Tuesday, Jan. 27.
