Vehicle Accident Kills High School Student in Region

The Preston County Schools Facebook page announced Sunday that, sadly, one of their own had been killed as the result of a vehicle accident. Details are limited.

"Message to the Preston High School Community: We are sorry to share that a Preston High School student has tragically died as a result of an automobile accident this weekend. This loss is felt deeply across our entire school community.
'Our sympathies go out to the family of the student, and we ask that you keep them in your thoughts during this very difficult time.
Counselors and support staff will be available at Preston High School to support any students or staff who may need someone to talk with in the days ahead."
